Robby Gordon's most memorable moment at the Brickyard came in 1999. Gordon was leading the Indianapolis 500 when he ran out of gas while coming to take the white flag for the final lap.

Gordon has driven his own entry in the 500 three times and has raced for a notable group of owners including AJ Foyt, Michael Andretti and Derrick Walker.
