Jim Beam Campaigns for Robby Gordon

Deerfield, Ill, May 1, 2008 - Jim Beam®, proud sponsor of Robby Gordon, driver of the NASCAR Sprint™ Cup Series No. 7 Jim Beam Dodge, is standing behind their driver and is encouraging fans to vote Gordon into the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race event on May 17 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

The grassroots campaign will kick-off Richmond race weekend with an email to all Jim Beam Brotherhood of Bourbon members encouraging them to “Vote for Robby.”  Jim Beam will place web-banners on nascar.com and will distribute custom-designed “Vote for Robby” shirts and stickers to fans at race events leading up to the All-Star event.  In addition, Jim Beam has provided a link on their website (www.jimbeam.com) to the voting page on www.nascar.com. After registering, fans can select Robby Gordon as the driver they would like to vote into the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Gordon has been tremendously appreciative of the support from Jim Beam and the fans.

The NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race event showcases race winners from the previous and current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series seasons, plus the winner and runner-up of the Sprint Showdown.  A final spot is given to the winner of the Sprint Fan Vote, providing the driver finishes on the lead lap of the Sprint Showdown.

Voting begins April 17 and closes at 7 p.m. EDT May 17. Race fans may vote multiple times. This year, votes placed on Sprint phones will count twice. The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the Sprint Showdown.

Voting is available through the following channels:

• On Sprint phones text “NASCAR” to 7777 and follow the received directions (standard text messaging and data rates apply)
• At participating Sprint stores
• Trackside at the Sprint Experience
