Robby Gordon Motorsports has teamed up with Team Caliber and Action Performance to create an unprecedented 10 different 1/24 scale die-cast models representing the race cars piloted by Robby Gordon throughout the 2005 NEXTEL Cup campaign.
Included in the mix is the popular red and white No.7 Jim Beam Monte Carlo which represents Jim Beam’s inaugural season in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series. In addition to the regular paint scheme there is also the Jim Beam Black No. 7 which will be run at the September 10th Richmond night race. Team Caliber has also created a nickel version on the Jim Beam car which when purchased on robbygordon.com will arrived autographed by Robby Gordon.
“Out of all the collectibles available, the die-cast are definitely the coolest. It’s great to hold in you hand a small version of a racecar that you’ve actually raced. Both Team Caliber and Action Performance go to great lengths to faithfully reproduce our cars down to the smallest decals. They do a very good job of matching the colors and making sure the final product represents exactly what we raced on the track,” said Gordon.
The array of die-cast also includes the purple and chartreuse Harrah’s Monte Carlo, the blue and yellow Fruit of the Loom Chevy and the yellow, black and silver Menards No. 7. Each of these is also available in the nickel version that when purchased online will arrive autographed by Robby Gordon.
