FORT WORTH, Texas -- A supernova of racing talent will again descend upon the Field of Dreams that is Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on June 4 when the dirt that made champions out of A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti hosts today's racing stars at the fourth annual Old Spice Prelude to the Dream.
The all-star race will feature such racing icons as Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte and more. All will pilot 2,300-pound dirt late-model stock cars capable of putting out more than 800 horsepower.

We had a great Charlotte test and we fully intend to race our way into the Sprint All Star race. However, we are also in a very tight race to get voted in via the fan vote. Every vote is going to count. Please vote now and vote often. Thanks

Robby Gordon + Forza 2 + Road America = Yeah!

Word is that if Robby wins Dakar, Turn 10 will take a hard look at making a off-road game. Give them some encouragement!
For those who don't follow this blog space on a regular basis, we wrote last week that famed NASCAR (and really all types of racing) driver Robby Gordon was going to visit Turn 10. Well, here's the follow-up on the visit, which turned out pretty fun for all involved.

To be honest, we're never quite sure what to expect when a professional race driver comes through the studio to check out our game, although we're always relieved when they end up mastering Forza 2 after a few laps in the triple-screen. It's always hard to guess whether real-life driving experience will translate into the limited feedback of a driving sim -- no matter how good your physics engine, if you're not feeling G-forces, it's sometimes hard for folks to gauge braking distance, and hence, they go flying off the track, embarrassing both driver and audience.

Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. [Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE:FO)], a global leader in premium spirits and wine, and the National Center for DWI Courts (NCDC) joined forces today to raise awareness about the effectiveness of DWI Treatment Courts in North Carolina, where nearly 600 people are killed each year by drunk drivers. DWI Courts deal with hardcore and repeat drunk driving offenders by providing long-term, ongoing accountability and rehabilitation in addition to conviction.
