We are deeply disappointed with SCORE’s decision and reject their claims in the strongest possible terms. We plan an immediate appeal of this unjust decision. My win at Baja was made possible by the hard work of my team and the support of my fans and sponsors. I want to assure all of these people that I will do whatever it takes to rebut these charges, clear my name and have my first place finish restored.

“Rather than enjoying a weekend off, we are headed to San Felipe to race our No. 77 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires trophy truck in the SCORE International Off-Road Series race. When I run a SCORE race, I usually have to commute and pull double-duty. This week is a real treat for me as I can focus on just the desert, which is exciting for me,” commented Gordon, who has two career class wins in his limited San Felipe attempts.

"I am very excited that our team was able to win SCORE's season-opener. After qualifying on the pole on Friday, I knew that we had a truck that could dominate. It was just up to us. All in all, it was a perfect weekend. In racing, you can't say that very often, but we had one of those weekends that you dream about. I think that this going to be a great year for our team, especially after winning our first SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge race and just having had both Hummers finish in the top-15 at the Dakar Rally. We are going to keep building on this momentum with all our racing programs," commented an ecstatic Robby Gordon.
