Sonoma, CA (June 23, 2008) – Robby Gordon came into the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway determined bring home the first victory for his No. 7 Dodge team and his second at the 1.99-mile road course. With an eighth place qualifying run on Friday afternoon and a first place practice session on Saturday, it seemed apparent that Gordon would be a strong contender for Sunday’s race. It was sheer heartbreak when a gamble with fuel mileage ended the hopes of winning, and Gordon finished the race in the 36th position.

BROOKLYN, MI (June 16, 2008) - Robby Gordon hit the track in Michigan with a fast race car, but another run of bad luck was lurking under the hood. After a third quick practice run on Friday, his chance of a solid qualifying lap was rained out, and Gordon had to start the race from the 30th position. Things were looking better for the team on Sunday when immediately following the drop of the green flag the fast No. 7 Dodge had gained ten spots and was on the move towards the leaders. Shortly thereafter though, things started to go askew, and it was not until Monday when the team learned why.
