Jim Beam No. 55 Watkins Glen Nationwide Preview

Robby Gordon Watkins Glen Nationwide Preview

Charlotte, NC (August 6, 2008) – All eyes will be on Robby Gordon this weekend as he attempts to sweep both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races at Watkins Glen International. With an average starting position of 4.0 and an average finish of 11.2 at The Glen in the Nationwide Series, Gordon and his No. 55 Jim Beam Dodge hope for continued success at a place where Gordon is no stranger to Victory Lane.

TV and Radio Times – Qualifying is set for August 9 at 10:10 a.m. (ET) on ESPN2, MRN, and Sirius Satellite radio. The 82 laps of racing action begins on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC, MRN and Sirius Satellite radio.

The Glen – “The Glen is such a great track to race on, and I always look forward to coming here. I’m excited that Jim Beam has come on board to sponsor both races this weekend. We had a really good test at Road Atlanta with both the Nationwide and Cup car last week, so I have a great feeling about this weekend and our chances to go to Victory Lane,” said Gordon. “If all goes according to our plan, it should be a very good weekend for our team and sponsors.”
