Robby Gordon NNS Chicago Preview

Robby Gordon will make his 50^th NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway for the Dollar General 300, driving the No. 55 Mapei/Menards Dodge Charger. 

Gordon has two Nationwide Series starts at the 1.5 mile, D-shaped track, with a best finish of 6^th place. The 200 lap event will begin on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. in Joliet, IL.

Gordon on Chicago – “Chicago is a great, high energy track. I am excited to also be running the Nationwide Series event there this weekend. I have only competed in two NNS races at Chicago, but I had a great 6^th place finish at one of them. I am hoping to top that this weekend in the No. 55 Mapei/Menards Dodge that the team has done an excellent job preparing for the race.”

TV Times – Qualifying is set for Friday, July 11^th at 3:35 p.m. (ET), and ESPN’s coverage of the racing action will begin later that evening at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
